Flight Alliance of Northeastern Nevada (FANN), is a 501(c)(6) non-profit organization similar to a Chamber of Commerce. Our mission is to unite public and private organizations to maintain and expand accessible, sustainable commercial air service at Elko Regional Airport. FANN was instrumental in helping the City of Elko obtain an $800,000 Small Community Air Service Development Program (SCASDP) Grant from the Department of Transportation (DOT). This grant helped secure a two-year, mid-day flight into EKO. FANN's activities include funding Minimum Revenue Guarantees (MRG), which are currently around $1.1 million per year for the airport, as well as promoting air travel through marketing, negotiating with airlines, and lobbying
